AKIN Conference

General Information

The abstract must be written in English.
Deadline: abstracts MUST BE RECEIVED no later than May 1, 2008.
Online abstract submissions are required.
Presenting authors must pay the registration fee and attend the meeting. Authors of accepted abstracts are not provided with travel funds.
5. All accepted abstracts for presentation who have registered for the AKIN meeting will be included in the AKIN Conference Program Syllabus that is distributed at the meeting
6. All accepted abstracts will be exhibited during the poster sessions on Tuesday. June 10, 2008 (6:00PM).
Notification of acceptance will be emailed by May 16, 2008.

Content of the Abstract

Abstracts are limited to 500 words.
Body of abstract: purpose of the study, methods used, summary of the results and conclusion reached.
Please try to limit your author list to 10.
References and credits MUST NOT be included in the abstract.
Simple tables may be made in the submission form - PLEASE DO NOT PASTE TABLES IN THE ABSTRACT BODY.
Formulas should be avoided.
Use standard abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.
Please indicate the subject category your abstract most closely represents:
a) Pre-Clinical Research
b) Translational Research
c) Patient-Oriented Research
d) Drugs and Devices
Abstracts will be published as submitted. Proof and edit your submission accordingly.

Many of the fields in the Abstract Form are required. Your form will not submit until it is complete. Please press the submit button only once.
Notification of acceptance will be mailed by May 16, 2008.
Upon acceptance, additional information will be forthcoming regarding poster dimensions, preparation and presentation of your poster.
